Overview
“Never again will there be in it an infant who lives but a few days, or an old man who does not live out his years; the one who dies at a hundred will be thought a mere child; the one who fails to reach a hundred will be considered accursed” Isaiah 65:20
Children’s Mission Africa is on a mission to make life better for every child in Africa. Together with her partners, CMA strives to make life better in several African countries by providing support, monitoring and evaluation services for organizations funded by Skandinaviska Barnmissionen (Children’s Mission Sweden), and those whose goal is to improve the welfare of vulnerable African families. Children’s Mission Africa together with our partners, covers more than eight countries in the African continent with various sustainable development projects.
Every year, the lives of millions of children and their families are disrupted, or nearly destroyed by emergencies around the world. Conflict, human-made disasters and wide-ranging, climate-change events challenge the lives of many who are already vulnerable. In this regard, Children’s Mission Africa has set out to transform communities in Africa to live Holistic Lives. CMA works with 12 partner organizations to implement initiatives targeted towards improving the lives of children, young people, women and families holistically. This is achieved by giving priority to initiatives in line with education, resilience, health, economic empowerment, religious literacy, and no corruption generation. The 10 programs are spread across 9 countries with a focus on partner capacity development.
